Individual Therapy
Individual therapy (psychotherapy or counseling) is a therapeutic process where a trained mental health professional works one-on-one with a client to address emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues. The primary goal is to help the individual gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to develop coping strategies to manage challenges and improve overall well-being.
During individual therapy sessions, clients have a confidential and supportive space to discuss their concerns, explore their experiences, and work towards personal growth and positive change.
The therapist serves as a facilitator, guiding the client in self-exploration, problem solving, and developing healthier perspectives and behaviors. Topics discussed in individual therapy can range from specific life stressors and relationship issues to deeper-seated emotional issues or mental health conditions.

Couples Therapy
Couples counseling, or couples therapy, is a form of psychotherapy that helps individuals in a romantic relationship address and resolve conflicts, improve communication, and enhance the overall quality of their relationship.
I utilize the Gottman Method, a research-based framework that involves a thorough assessment of the relationship. The Gottman Method Couples Therapy, is an evidence-based approach to couples counseling developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. It involves a thorough assessment of a couple's relationship and integrates research-based interventions derived from the Sound Relationship House Theory.

Parent Coaching
Sometimes, parents become stressed when their children are struggling with social, emotional, academic or medical challenges. The stress can affect daily life, including career, family, and marriage. I can support couples in working together as a team to process and find solutions that help reduce stress at home and allow the family to grow successfully.
